But I also knew lots of British people and grew up on its media. So I had an affection for the British too. Both things can be true. I saw how they oppressed their own people and mine. There was solidarity. So when someone bashed the Brits I agreed macroly but not microly.

So we can never blame a nation for its wrongs. We have to explicitly name the specific individuals and groups responsible each and every time? That's not how it works or has ever worked.
Let me explain it this way. I grew up pretty anti-British given everything that was going on. 1/x
