Reached an odometer milestone for What Grows From the Dead, my most-rated book of all of them. If you're looking for a funny amateur sleuth mystery set in North Carolina, check it out!

One of my Inquisitors' Guild mysteries, The Woeling Lass, is free as an ebook until Tuesday the 13th. An assassin leaves an inspector near death and his family decimated. As he is whisked to safety, an apprentice starts to pull together the clues. Plus, there may or not be a vengeful ghost.

The first in my fantasy detective series, Flames Over Frosthelm, is free as an ebook until December 30th. If magic, mystery, swordplay, shady nobles, and goofy jokes appeal, give it a try on me!

I got a new cover made for #SPFBOX semifinalist The Glorious and Epic Tale of Lady Isovar. The artist is Laurent Reis. I couldn't be happier - I think it better expresses the silliness of the story.

The book is a humorous fantasy with an over-the-top lady knight and her long-suffering squire.

My judging group, Team 1.21 Gigawatts, has received their allotment for the 5th annual Self-Published Science Fiction Competition (#SPSFC). Very exciting, and looks like a great group of books.

An unexpected danger of making your little kids pancakes in shapes they request (dinosaur! robot!) is that at 28, they ask for mass spectrometer.

I went more schematic than photorealistic. Sample at the top, magnetized plates on the sides, collector at the bottom, an ion or two heading down.

Sometimes I think the book marketing scammers must actually be comedians.

Another milestone - my first book to reach 700 ratings on Amazon. Thanks to all who followed Morris' story (and don't forget Vampire Steve). Available in print, ebook, and audio.
