Saw the movie years ago, a late night screening on local TV. I couldn't sleep so tuned in, and couldn't turn it off. Wild, fantastical, creepy as hell, and the ending? Couldn't sleep after that! Been a go-to recommendation ever since. Never saw the remake - just can't see Cage in the Robinson role.
