I can imagine that it has seen a lot of things! Edward II apparently stayed in the village for a few days while travelling to the abbey at Bury St Edmunds. I think I’m right in saying that they built something especially for him in the abbey gardens. I’m not sure if he liked it though.

I’ve taken my daughter for her first Indian. And it’s in a 14th century market stall. It’s empty because it’s nearly 9pm in Suffolk.

What a difference 4 weeks makes. My GP warned me about my high blood pressure, so I started walking for 30 mins a day and changed my diet. I am now 6kg lighter and my blood pressure readings this morning are back in the normal range.
