I have no need for an elf on a shelf because I've got a...
Car's in for a service so I've been loaned this for the day. It's basically a chest freezer on wheels, with heated seats.
I'm sure it's lovely when given the chance but I miss being able to go round corners and not feel like your door handles are scraping off the tarmac.

This one's a LOT rougher, and probably doesn't even run (guy says he has no way to test it as there are no cables) but it was £20 & you'll pay more for one which is 100% broken. Pic from the listing.

I've replaced the no-name power supply with a proper one, so hefty that it could knock out a mammoth. They definitely don't make them like they used to. 🤣
Because I'm an inveterate tinkerer and even though the MD is now flawless I've ordered 45 capacitors to replace the originals.

Now that I'm back from the grocery run and sheltering from the rain and wind, I've turned my attention to refurbing the Mega Drive I bought during the week. It was in surprisingly good condition when it arrived, only needing a bit of a clean with isopropyl, but I've gone deeper. Ooh-er etc.
