Not this time. But we did take a tour of the Kingston Penitentiary. Was a surprisingly interesting tour by a knowledgeable student guide and former guards.

AI is not convinced about this rather novel approach to reform trump, the unreformable as an FBI informant

A clever twist on a story which is itself absurd

This little kitten was peaking at us while we sipped wine at 13th Street Winery in the Niagara area

Local gems. So many great wineries in Ontario. We visited three in the Lincoln area of Niagara. Stonewall Estate is a hidden gem with beautiful gardens, 13th Street Winery has wine, food and art. Peninsula Ridge also excellent

Went down Niagara way yesterday, visited a couple wineries and Niagara-on-the Lake. Very clear and so we could see Toronto across the lake. Lots of beautiful places in our backyard

Canada's foreign trade with non-USA countries was up 13.6% in the first half of the year. This is a great start.

Beautiful. Halifax is another favourite Canadian city. A must visit. Saw this one on a restaurant downtown Halifax

And Montreal overall is beautiful. Artwork isn't just in the museums

This year vacation in Canada.

Regarding Old Montreal, it has it all. Note the pirate ship in the foreground of the Bonsecours Market picture. Part of a climbing and Zipline centre. Close is Cirque de Soleil, as well as a Science Centre. And boat tours in the rapids. And La Ronde @mtl.org

We went whale watching on the St Lawrence in a zodiac and saw the Fjord in a boat which had retractable windows and open space at the back.

Fin whales throughout including right at the end of the clip

Okay, one more about whale watching out of Tadoussac Quebec. Outstanding place for this. They get something around 10 different species which even includes the blue whale. On our excursion we saw minke whales, fin whales (second largest whale after the blue) and beluga

Have to give a call out to the inn where we stayed, Au Cachalot Caché le gîte hôtel. Guylaine and Bruno have a 6 out of 5 star place. Beautiful rooms and gourmet breakfasts.

The Saguenay Fjord is incredible. Over 100 km long and boasting 400m cliffs. It's also home to the most southern population of beluga whales
