I think the point you made about 'fight' and the combative language is also bang on. Endurance ought to be the watch word as well as fortitude.
But they are clearly less easy to spell.

The only way I've managed to deal with these occasional downturns or set backs is to realise that I've relinquished control, unfortunately.
I'm now in the third 'relapse' and it doesn't get any easier, but you do develop a certain "go with the flow" serenity! Huge love!
