The cure is to read the Illuminatus! Trilogy by Robert Anton Wilson and Robert Shea. Like Joyce on acid but funnier.

I was given it as a birthday present and only read it a few years ago.

How can you not enjoy the last part though when Molly Bloom turns the tables on everything that preceded it. I was literally laughing out loud reading it.

I’ve been meaning to give it a go. Probably the most difficult book I’ve read would be Gravity’s Rainbow which was both hilarious and frustrating. Rewarding however once finished.

Some of us just read Ulysses for fun.
