Time to replace my TV. After 15 years, it's just randomly started switching inputs or turning off whilst im gaming. Which is especially bad if you're just starting a cutscene in Final Fantasy 16.

Ok, so finally got around to watching New Mutants. Not bad. The romance between Dani and Rahne was a nice take on their relationship. Ilyana was an interesting take on her character, and Sam and Roberto were pretty decent even if they seemed to take a backseat to the girls.

Oh well, regardless of Gerald's beliefs and opinions in his lifetime, the Craft has evolved past them, ao I guess i should let it go. Not my best skill I will admit, but we try.

I do sometimes wonder if Gardners insistence on heterosexual pairings was simply because he was focused on Wicca as a mother and father dynamic, or if he was just low-key homophonic.

That ama that Grant Morrison did where he says he thinks of ai as an egregore worries me. Because when you put those thoughts out there, they start to coalesce. And gods only know there's always a new crop of Witches ready to try bad ideas. Admittedly if its a really bad idea they only do it once.

Ok, I got distracted and found my charcoal discs, and the Pisces incense that Nigel bought me last year. I am a sucker for a good Frankincense blend.

Ok, so carrots, onion, swede,leeks, potatoes, barley and lentil broth mix, and a ham hock for the stock. Got the barley mix soaking for 8 hours, and then we begin the witchcraft that is soup.

First snow of the year, and its that treacherous wet crap that freezes into ice that lingers for a month if the temperature is low. I knew I should have got some more of those sandalwood candles from Morrisons...
