I went back to TikTok to catch the vibe of the U.S. and haven't seen talk of the ownership change. I've mostly seen an upswell of artists raging against the current rise of fascism. Artists who hold a mirror up to society and choose to create. Artists who give me hope for the future of humanity.

I support your decision while refusing to support X, myself. As a journalist, your observation of and participation on that platform serves an entirely different role than my participation would. I deleted my account in protest of, well... *gestures broadly at Twitter* but support you staying there.

The wealthiest Americans stole so much from the working class that even if they kept 92% of it and gave back the rest (only 8%) it would DOUBLE the wealth of the POOREST HALF OF AMERICANS.
This is why the people are suffering.
Wage theft. Wage suppression.
Mass corruption.

If I were American, I would vote for any politician who ran on a platform of prison for every single goddamn member of ICE.
Mass arrest of every single one.
"I was just following orders..." wasn't an excuse for the Nazis. It's not an excuse for these Nazi wannabe thugs.

Understood. But I think it's foolish to think some college student who got swept up with the wrong crowd and brainwashed by the manosphere is beyond redemption, deserving only death. Like you said: Words are used for reasonable people. Some self-proclaimed Nazis can be rehabilitated. And should be.

Personally, I don't condone kill-on-sight. They'd use that to justify (hypocritically) lethal crackdowns on the "radical left". Lethal force to protect a victim? Sure, if necessary. But intolerance of intolerance can mean elimination of the threat without violence, unless necessary.

Nazis want the extermination of everyone who isn't a Nazi. Therefore, when faced with a Nazi, the only ethical stance is to eliminate their threat. Tolerance is not a passive exercise. It requires fierce protection of the innocent and oppressed. Inaction gets people killed.

I love my SECRET LAB gaming chair. As someone with chronic back pain from the 💫incident💫 it helped a ton. Before I got a standing desk it was my butt's and back's home from 9-to-5 every day.
