Dog lover, Argyle Fan. Enjoying early retirement… :-)
I guess it’s weird because we all love to dislike #Ryanair but unlike easyJet they went ahead with their flights, the staff were courteous and polite and it was overall a good experience. I’m home. I’m grateful.

I was then expecting a complete nightmare but hats off to Ryanair they got us on the flight, took off and landed us in Bristol at 1.30 ish in very strong winds. A woman was sick, the plane bounced up and down and we all gave the pilot a huge round of applause. #ryanair

At 10.30 we get another email from Ryanair saying that they apologise and the flight is now delayed until 12.15. So it’s rush rush rush to the airport, slaughter through security, get out of security and then get to the gate. 40 minutes before departure we’re on the bus.

Meanwhile my flight remains on schedule but were going to need the Milan flight to leave Bristol for it to remain on time. Around 9.00am Italian time we get an email from Ryanair apologising that the flight is going to be delayed until 1.30. We decide to relax in our hotel until midday.

The flights remain “on schedule” until about 20 minutes after they were due to depart and then turn to “on route - delayed”. Tried to check what “on route - delayed” means but can’t seem to get an answer. Guessing passengers are on route to the plane.

Then I am watching in anticipation of what is going to happen to their early flights to Dublin and Malaga so I can get an idea of whether their brave pilots are going to help them hit their scheduled departure time

Day starting with #easyjet and a few others cancelling everything all day apart form a few flights. #ryanair on the other hand looked like they were bravely going to try to get everyone on their scheduled flight.

I recognise the words “Star Wars” and “the hunger games”. I don’t even know what “moot” means. Not expecting a follow :-/

And here’s a lovely snowy picture of Cornwall (although not from today but two years ago! (Note the 6mm of snow didn’t exactly break records but it did bring everything to a grinding halt!)

Is there any footage anywhere of the half time challenge where a fan wins a breadmaker for shooting closest to the goal?
November 21, 2024 at 7:46 PM
I’ll take anyone coming good at the moment. Whittaker, Hardie, Issaka, Bundu. Literally any of them having a little think about where the goal is during the international break ….
November 21, 2024 at 7:41 PM
Yes! But in a world where you are paid to be controversial / interesting who is ever going to read: “let’s all get together and solve things amicably”. I fear consensus politics is a thing of the past. I wish we could get them all in a room - I’m sure they would get along very well!

To be honest it could be anything from 0 to 12 but if I was to put money on it I would say four from the two home games :-))
November 20, 2024 at 9:50 AM
That really is it now. No reason to be on x at all. :-))
November 18, 2024 at 2:54 PM
Love a Friday night game :-))
November 18, 2024 at 2:49 PM
Fantastic stuff. (Scratches head now to work out any reason anymore to go over to x)
November 17, 2024 at 12:12 AM
How is he doing at Middlesbrough? Anyone know? #mfc #boro 7 goals in 35 appearances?
November 16, 2024 at 4:47 PM
And what do you think of these? I can’t help hating them AND loving them?
November 16, 2024 at 1:16 PM
That said I guess it’s those #ecfc supporters who hate #pafc supporters that are hard to ignore. And of course when they play us there’s only one team in Devon …..
November 16, 2024 at 12:33 PM
You know even when we lose or play badly I still prefer to have my weekend ruined than the abyss of the international break :-))
November 15, 2024 at 10:41 PM
And Mr Savage as well! Blimey…
