It's not been tried Carole that's the point. Legalisation is sensible, practical and has great advantages. It makes it a public health issue, it stops the supply chain model currently run by criminals (and other problems like county lines), it doesn't criminalise so addicts can rebuild their lives

I agree with a lot of what you say but there's nothing here. We should be able to choose how we go from this world. That is our right and yes we will all have different opinions on this but it's not something to politicise. Cheap point.

I think the focus on the physical medium of the newspaper is inconsequential. Outlets such as the Mail and the Sun online are massive. They have massive digital reach.
