Bluesky is an even smaller ecosystem than twitter and it's just as obnoxiously groupthink as anywhere else. However, almost all of the top comments here are sympathetic to Sasse, so I think your broad brush of "cruelty" is laughable. You must be of the "all Somalis are fraudsters" crowd.

Yes, all true. Still, he's chosen to be a "Democrat", full stop, so my point is that there's no reason to think he doesn't actively want Obama's endorsement and respects the leader of his own party. He clearly does.

As far as I can see, the insult "pussy" comes from the word pusillanimous, meaning weak and feeble. Which is how the insult is used. The offensive part is calling a vagina a pussy, not calling a pussy a pussy. As you stated, vaginas are no pussies.

You buried the lede. Most Democrats are weak and inept compared to this guy fighting against fascism. Purity tests about past podcast guests and shit is irrelevant in this moment. We need to show the party which type of leaders and tactics we want right now.
