Bee Farmer Association meeting this morning at Thornes. A two hour drive but uneventful. Things have bought!

Some orangey and shiny has arrived. Pity I cannot play with it until Thursday

I wondered why my feet where get wet. Yes I know its wet out there in the field. I had a close look at soles of my boots. They are like swiss cheese...full of holes. That will be the reason then! Had them over two years of pretty much daily use. Well done Perf. I will be ordering soon!

This was the last dregs of the honey from the extractor. I spent the afternoon @SJMSchool with Yr5 extracting honey from their hive. It is light and fragrant. Its jarring next week.

This afternoon got derailed. I dropped in to talk to one of apiary landlords. I wanted to talk about developing the apiary after a terribly wet year. We talked of many things and eventually got round to my ideas. "Oh yes, help yourself" was the answer. sweet!

Its been a busy day and successful day. Corporate sponsors say yes to 2025. Private sponsors happy with their goodies for 2024 & wholesale customers topped up. Check out @vinefarmdairy and @farm_picks - Picks organic farm.

Even got a chance to check in on a colony or two.

We have five more beekeepers in the world. This happy bunch completed their Foundation course in Beekeeping today (Sunday). Interesting the diverse reason for attending the course. Places available in 2025. Check out thebeefarmer.co.uk/education1/e...
