Still on iOS 18.7.1 as I'd heard a lot of grumbling about 26. Noticed 26.1 is out but wow - 11.5GB! That sounds more like a desktop than a mobile OS.

Still on the fence as to whether I hit 'update' though.

Thankfully the reception just outside of Hahndorf was inside and nice and warm. Fantastic views back over the Mt Lofty Ranges and the passing storm clouds.

Went to a wedding in Kuitpo Forest today. It was cold, but thankfully the heavy rain kept away until after the ceremony. Weather in November can be unpredictable - only on Saturday it was a bright and sunny 25 and I was applying sunscreen!

A beautiful setting.

Great for the garden and farmers, but less so for friends of ours who are getting married later today outdoors in Kuitpo Forrest.👰🤵
Looking forward to attending their wedding, but it may be a challenging day to be dressed up 🙂☔☂️

Well this is weird. I went to the hardware store today to get a few things including some extra 90mm PVC storm water elbows.

But now I'm home I can't find them anywhere! I'm sure I put them in the car from the shopping trolley, as I actually returned the trolley back inside the store.

A mystery!

It's the Australian Rules Football grand final today

Geelong Cats vs Brisbane Lions

The one time most of the family sit down to watch a footy game on TV!

Should be a good battle #AFL

It's #DonutOfTheMonth time again at the Port Elliot Bakery. Hazelnut Tiramisu. Pretty good 👍

Sorry Mr Seagull I didn't share.

He was not impressed 😀

Sponge cake finished. Used some of my blackberry jam in the middle. Pretty happy with the result. Hope it tastes ok🙂

First half done, and it's looking encouraging. We only have one smaller round cake tin so I have to do them one at a time, rather than two together.

Happy Father's Day!

Catching up with my dad and family for lunch later today. Trying my hand at baking a sponge cake this morning. Not my usual thing, and my mum has set a high standard, so I'll see how it goes. I do have a shop one as a backup plan 🙂

Second day volunteering at the Red Dove Cafe at #TheShow done. Today my co-sandwich maker was Heather, who had come 800km from Ceduna (country #SouthAustralia) to help out! I don't think I've met her before but after chatting a bit we discovered we know quite a few people in common. How #Adelaide 😀

Today and tomorrow I'm volunteering at the Red Dove Cafe at the Royal Adelaide Show. As my shift doesn't start until 11am I have a bit of time to look around first. Wood chopping is my favourite #Adelaide #TheShow

Enjoyed my morning walk in a different location today. Belair National Park was brisk but beautiful. Had a bit of company along the way too🦘
Only surprise was discovered a flat tyre when I got back to our car. Must have run over something on the way there.

Another visit to #PortElliot. I'm on leave this week and it's just a lovely spot so who can blame me🙂

The steam train isn't running, just the "Red Hen" passenger diesel. I remember catching these trains in Adelaide years ago. The only air conditioning on a hot day was to open the windows and doors.

In the afternoon we had a quick trip down to Port Elliot, so of course I had to check out the Port Elliot Bakery donut of the month (Coco pops). Pretty chocolatey and yummy.

A nice day today, so grabbed the opportunity to go for a ride this morning with the #MudSweatAndGears group. Most were going off road, but Kingsley and I stuck to the bitumen. I just managed to keep up with him (he has an e-bike). Turns out it was Kingsley's birthday today too. 80 something!

This little fellow should be fast asleep so they have enough energy to clomp all over our roof in the middle of the night, instead of being out in our carport this afternoon 😀

A nice surprise to receive this email overnight. Come October I will have been an MVP for 10 years. Thanks to all involved from Microsoft and the MVP programme.
