There's one more on the left side of the picture of him holding - seemingly - a small kid in his arms. Gawd.

Sometimes they grow out of it, but most of the time they don't.

Oh, and you can't share email addresses either. We are still dealing with the ramifications of that: my wife signed up for a Hulu/Max/Disney package in the US, but her Spanish Max account was linked to that email. We've been waiting months for someone to fix the country of residence.

I did, in a way, while living abroad in Spain. It's harder than just using a VPN. Pretty much anything you sign up for requires a local (European) billing address and if your credit card doesn't provide free foreign transactions it can add up. Also, catalogs are substantially different.

Mostly Bluesky users buying it to dunk on it.

Good. Someone needs to call her out for what she is. We should be shaming all these assholes on a daily basis, not pretending that they have some kind of valid position that is just dependent on one's politics. She's lying, plain and simple. She even admitted to it.

The language? Racist tropes.

As someone who worked in Silicon Valley: it's actually surprisingly good and funny, if nothing else because the stereotypes are *on point*. You've met every one of the characters in real life, and you've hated every one of them.

What are serifs if not tiny little font penises? It's time we bring font penises back to official documents. We need the text to reflect the kind of masculine energy Marco Rubio exudes.

LOL, it's hilarious how he struggles to not say that Mamdani was elected by "a majority of people who aren't white".

The funny thing about the Culture books - and the Culture itself - is that Elon Musk and the rest of his South African buddies would find it too libertine and Commie. They would *hate* the Minds. They think they are the heroes, but they are Veppers from Surface Detail.

Anyone thinking "oh, that could be a fun job!" does not understand the breadth of content being generated by OnlyFans.

I hate when articles like this claim 'Silicon Valley' does this or that and what they mean is the five most odious assholes kind of agreeing on something, while 99.9% of the people in Silicon Valley wouldn't piss on Sacks if he was on fire.

It's a very easy rewatch. It lives up there with The Fifth Element and the original Alien franchise in my yearly rotation.

It still works with the most annoying ~30% or so of the country, which translates to 60% or so of Republicans. Which is all they need to hijack the Republican party and, by extension, the politics of the whole country.

Correct. The whole movement is motivated by revenge fantasies on the people that supposedly 'victimized' them. They don't like Trump because they think he's a genius or whatever, they like him because they think he'll hurt the people they hate.

You couldn't manufacture a more un-Christian ghoul than a conservative 'Christian' if you tried.

I lived in San Francisco for almost a decade. I can count with the fingers of one hand how many times I accidentally misgendered someone. Never did anyone act offended by the mistake. Meanwhile, I've had people living in Bumfuck, Midwest telling me they live in mortal fear of misgendering people 🤨

Probably the same reason phone autocorrect and autocolpletion have become worse over time: people don't know when the hell to stop 'improving' something.
