I had a chance to play the demo for ALABASTER DAWN (the new @radicalfishgames.com title) a few days early. Absolutely loved it. Quick thoughts:

* Pixel art is gorgeous as always; story is mysterious
* Bosses were intense
* Upgrade grid seems great
* Puzzles are back! They weren't too finicky either

A floating pixel-art god that says "your journey... it has just begun"

A battlefield with an intense looking enemy with a sword and shield. The player character says ".... a challenge, hm?"

A grid showing upgrades for your character. The highlighted node is the "affinity up" skill, which increases the chances of critical hits.

Two characters stand in a puzzle room. One has a glowing line to a floating crystal. Platforms move as they interact with the room.

ALABASTER DAWN's demo is out for everyone this Thursday (Sept 18th)! Give it a play if you're interested in Action RPGs, gorgeous pixel art, or mysterious stories.
