Great news, now bring all SNP and Scottish government comms off Twitter/X, and set an example to the morally hesitant UK govt, by choosing only non-algorithm driven social sites like Bluesky.

Ignore BMW's spiel about BMW approved servicing; it's a license for them to print money. I drive a BMW and haven't taken it anywhere near a BMW garage since purchase. Don't worry about warranty, the law changed a few years ago, allowing drivers to service their car anywhere that's VAT registered.

Nancy was naive to keep to a system that his players couldn't play effectively, and that opposition teams sussed out pretty easily.
Given they've also sacked the guy who hired him, it doesn't look as though much due diligence was applied to the hiring process in the first place.

It's been the oddest debacle to watch unfold. Who do they appoint now? Surely, MON won't come back again as caretaker? The irony is if he had stayed, and had managed to keep up the fairly decent form, they'd probably be top by now.

I was once working on a youth TV show, and breenged into a discussion with much younger colleagues about the latest hot pop acts. The withering look I received when I mispronounced up and coming Trinidadian singer/rapper as Nicki Ninja will stay with me til my dying days. Top cringe!

Yes, it's a puzzle right enough. There's a section of the commentariat who would like to see a cunt like Farage, as you correctly label him, as PM. Like Trump, the disruptor aspect excites them. It's fucking disgraceful.

I have to question the assertion that Farage has charisma. Metropolitan journos' viewpoint on the matter obviously differ from this Glaswegian, armed with a fairly decent bullshit detector. Like BoJo before him, buffoon does not equal charismatic.

I lived in Madrid for a few years. Incredible infrastructure, and a huge city. And while great swathes of central Spain are empty of people, the whole country is very well served by top class road and rail. Our national infrastructure is a sad and sorry mess in comparison.

I love and despise London in equal measure. It's a fabulous city, full of life and culture and a great place to spend time, yet it's a sponge, soaking the rest of the country dry, and not just finance, the centralisation of culture in one city is to the detriment of nearly everywhere else.

Odd article - producers changed it up because parents loved watching with their kids, yet Claudia says its more brutal. Doesn't sound like family viewing. The cash prize taints the non-celebrity version. Playing for fun rather than money is more enjoyable to watch.

I don't watch film adaptations of books I adore. If the writing is good, no filmmaker can equal the imagery created in your mind's eye by a writer at the height of their powers. No movie can connect you to a character like an author can, giving each their full humanity on the page. Books>films.
