Yeah, looks good. Thanks Sean. I'll start my own free trial now. Hope you didn't miss out on any referral fees.

Just noticed that the blue 'Try for Free' button on each of the Qobuz playlist pages seems to work with a DiS referral link (www.qobuz.com/store-router...), just not the pink 'Try Qobuz for Free' button on the DiS website (www.qobuz.com/dis?ref=drow...)

I've tried using Firefox, Chrome and Edge on Windows PC and on my Android phone - same problem each time. Sorry, but I haven't verified my age with Bluesky, so can't read DMs. My irritation with the online safety act is matched only by my irritation with Spotify.🙄

Any links directly to playlists work okay - it's just the referral link that's causing a problem for me.

Hi Sean - it looks like the link to the Qobuz trial is giving a 404 error. The link in the latest newsletter seems to have the same problem as well.

Thanks for the clarification Liam. So at least the police force itself had the sense to accept the findings. But it's hard to believe anyone connected to SYP still has the gall to defend their long-discredited senior officers, especially when none of them will ever face significant consequences.

That's an appalling response. How dare South Yorkshire Police act as if it's their officers who have been wronged. They couldn't even manage a bland PR response about 'lessons being learned'. I'd say shame on them, but they clearly don't have the capacity for shame, even to this day.

I saw this when it was originally broadcast too. It seemed so elaborate (even down to the suitably bland episode title) that I was convinced they'd just put the wrong programme on, up until the point where Owen Brenman walked through the door and said "Have you got a moment sir?".

One significant thing to note here is that Nathan Gill wasn't FOUND guilty, he PLEADED guilty to the eight charges of bribery. Presumably because the case against him was so overwhelming.

The Lib Dems are in a no man's land of their own making. For decades they've presented themselves as one-nation conservatives - a lifeboat for affluent people who've retained some shred of social conscience, but who can't abide the idea of voting for Labour (or anyone to the left of them).
