Only having seen the animes; Inuyasha felt like a huge improvement on Ranma 1/2. Maybe only ever felt like she had great characters and settings with no stories? To me.

Great, even improving, stuff. But none of it ever fully came together. For me.

So Hisaki and Yasha being central is obvious, Kijo overlapping the title and being large feels established and appropriate.

Any insights on the sizing or positioning of the others? I could see not, but I over analyze.

Cat would like all of them for different reasons. As long as she can at least make Hisaki uncomfortable in the event she can't get information.

Hisaki or Kakon would probably make Melody uncomfortable.

You know, I don't think any of his fights really stuck with me from the anime.

It was higher level writing stuff I learned from his handling. Specifically; limit the page/screen time of the coolest character to avoid diluting their impact.

Not a crush in my case, but Sesshomaru is my favorite Inuyasha character with no contest.

And at least how they handled him in the anime is one of my biggest influences for how to do a badass character right.

Something about Hisaki as a swordsman with the lightning over his hand makes it feel like a metaphor for his sword-handling somehow.

I hate when that happens. I'm leaving the times I've done it repressed.
