Never gotten an earthquake alert on my phone before. (I didn't feel anything.)

I love the idea of having "Pretend You Won" in the list of options on a boss fight retry screen.

The technology for post-surgery comes for pets has changed since the last time we used one of those.

Yay, beat the heart on Ascension 9 with my worst character. Upgraded Apparitions plus scry synergies plus lots of strength sources plus 60 or so hit points despite the Apparitions; honestly, I don't think I even needed the extra HP, the Apparitions plus good defense was probably enough.

Assembling this deck was quite dicey, but in its final form, I can play Omega by turn 3 or 4 and then reliably generate 60+ block per turn while waiting for Omega to do its thing. I get hurt a bit in the initial turns but the amount is manageable.

I'm really surprised I didn't win with this deck - so much 0 cost power. A little light on defense though, and that cost me at the end…

Nice seeing a little slice of old game blogging in my Duolingo friends list. (I'm DavidCarlt14 there if anybody wants to help me expand it.)

I've never had a winning Defect deck like this, and I'm still honestly kind of shocked that it worked, but Necronomicon double playing the Streamlines turned out to be surprisingly effective.
