During the first reign-of-stupid, I saw an interview on a late-night talk show about the person's upcoming movie. He stated it was set "5 years after the Civil War", and I swear, my first reaction was that it is set in the future.

I (and my now wife) had seen this multiple times on TV (she more than I). Then saw it on the big screen, so no cropping. Actually significantly changed the story in several places. If you watch it, make sure you watch the widescreen version!

I was almost right on top of this one (about 3km away). Unlike other quakes I've felt, no rumble, no shaking, just one big jolt, over before there was even time to react. Didn't think it was a quake, because it was so different, but when I didn't see a truck crashed into the house, checked the news

So IOW, solar is only working during the time that I most need to run A/C; and when I don't need to pull that much electric, it's not there.
Not sure where the problem is.
(and disbursed solar does a LOT to relieve stress on grid; NJ has panels on many utility poles; used locally, no grid stress)

My fav is the auto blood-pressure gauge, which activates every 10 minutes; just about the amount of time it takes to fall asleep from the last time it woke you up.
But get used to it. You're not gonna get a good night's sleep for at least 2 years!

IDK. I've never used ChatGPT, but I've had situations where something is proposed, and I immediately think "Damn, THAT'S stupid", and come up with something I wouldn't have thought of without the utterly stupid prompt.
OTOH, never anything actually useful, so you may have a point....
