My guess is that Miller et al are smart enough to realize that if they feed him little distractions like this, it'll take up all his time and attention so they can get on with running the country.

That assumes that a signature is distinctive and constant. That was true for those of us who grew up with paper documents but for young people used to screens, it’s less so.
