I feel like I'm constantly being let down by musical comedies. I saw a very popular new romcom on broadway and the humor just made me cringe throughout, it feels like so much broadway comedy is pitched like an old CBS sitcom (which is FINE but not my thing).

So this was a breath of fresh air.
