I always replace the old electrolytic capacitors when I’m repairing/modding Gameboys but this is the first time I’ve found leakage under the old caps. I also opened and cleaned the power switch. #gameboy #gameboycolor #gameboymodding #retrogaming

Replacing the badly faded/yellowed purple shell. I initially wanted a clear black shell but the circuit board is also yellowed and it looked like crap so I went with green which hides the yellowing. #gameboy #gameboycolor #gameboymodding #retrogaming
