The public deserves input, claims Ohio House Speaker Matt Huffman, but first politicians have to “negotiate” in private, even though they just blew past a deadline for a bipartisan map with no negotiations at all. He just drips condescension for the voters and their intelligence.

We are in the “heads I win, tails you lose” era of the U.S. Supreme Court, where ruling in favor of Trump is the only consistent metric for their application of the rule of law and Constitution of the United States.

Ohio AG Dave Yost's statement on the Supreme Court's birthright citizenship rulings decision. He seems to believe it's judges trying to exert kingly powers by protecting constitutional rights, which is an odd way of looking at things, given all of human and American history.
