BC has billions in shovel-ready projects ready to go.

Instead of real jobs for our province, the BC Conservatives are standing up for themselves, infighting and Alberta politics.

We’ll continue to ignore the noise and deliver for this province and country.

Most parents don’t work 9-3 and may end up scrambling to pick up their kids after school.

We’ve introduced legislation that, if passed, would allow school districts to offer seamless child care before and after school, on school grounds.

This week also marks two years since the war in Gaza began. A war that has taken tens of thousands of civilian lives. We mourn every innocent victim.

We stand with the international community: Calling for an immediate ceasefire. Calling for the release of all hostages.

Today marks the 2nd anniversary of the Hamas terrorist attacks in Israel that took 1,200 lives. Among them, Vancouver's Ben Mizrachi. The pain and grief felt by families, communities and across the world is profound.

BC is leading 🇨🇦 with major opportunities to deliver prosperity to all of Canada.

We have billions worth of private sector & First Nations led projects, that are ready to go and will create thousands of jobs.

Alberta’s fictional bitumen pipeline achieves none of these things.

As British Columbians we love our coast and will always protect it.

The North Coast Tanker Ban also secures billions in shovel-ready projects.

We won’t let this proposal, with no backer and no money, threaten real jobs for BC’s families.

As the sun sets tonight, Jewish communities will observe Yom Kippur - the holiest day in the Jewish calendar.

It’s a solemn day of reflection observed through fasting, prayer and seeking forgiveness.

To all who observe this sacred day, Tzom kal and a G’Mar Chatimah Tovah.

You can also read, watch and listen to Indigenous-created content; support an Indigenous-owned business; and wear an orange shirt to show that ‘every child matters.’ Together, we can build a brighter future for everyone rooted in truth and reconciliation.

Today, I encourage everyone to reflect on the legacy of residential schools and join the journey toward truth and reconciliation. There are many Indigenous-led events happening throughout the province that are open to everyone who wants to listen, learn and remember.

The spread of misinformation about residential schools increases division among us and seeks to deny the very real experiences of former students and their families. We can’t get to a better future unless we acknowledge and learn from our past.

Our government denounces residential school denialism and recognizes the harm that it causes, not only for survivors, families and communities, but also all of us.

We listen to survivors’ stories, we recognize their courage and strength, and we learn from their experiences. Together, we recommit to walking the path of truth and reconciliation.

Today, we remember the children who never returned home from residential school. We stand with the survivors of these depraved institutions and the survivors of the intergenerational trauma that started within their walls.

The Bishnoi gang has terrorized people in our communities, using violence and extortion.

BC was the first to call on Ottawa to list them as a terrorist entity back in June.

This move gives authorities powers to freeze and seize the gang’s assets and keep our streets safe.
