Some bland TV commentary. Some leftist screeds. Probably some podcast recommendations. Honestly, not much else.
Based on an unexpected conversation I just had with my kid, I’ll submit both The Ghosts that Haunt Me and God Shuffled His Feet by the Crash Test Dummies. Neither are particularly near the top of the list of greatest albums I’ve heard, but they’re both very interesting and they do unusual things.

As far as I can remember, I’ve never seen a show structured like that. There was no opener, they came out and played a great 60 minute set, took a roughly 45 minute intermission and then played another great 75 minute set. Absolutely amazing, but very strange.

For sure. Even having lived in the states for my whole life, with the particular loudness and intrusiveness of the government at this time, I do tend to forget that the government =/= (many of) the people. Thank you for reminding me to monitor my frustration, most of us are on the correct side.

My profound distaste for evangelicalism does seem to lead to posts that sound like I’m some variety of mainstream Christian, which is wildly off brand for me. I’m actually a fairly insufferable atheist, I’m just willing to make some allowances for the less awful, quieter branches of Christianity.
