Forgive me. I think you mean "TOTAL" Heathcare and Education (773k). Public H/E is about 450k and Private H/E is about 320k.

To your point that Democratic leaders can influence voter positions on policy, Republican leaders have clearly demonstrated that is in fact true, persuading a large segment of the electorate against immigrants over the past several years. Why can't Democrats do the same in the other direction?

Importantly, they are also in swing states.

For my entire lifetime, I've witnessed the media and elected officials calling out foreign leaders on their divergent messages when speaking in English on the world stage versus speaking in their native language when addressing their constituents. Why not here, now?

Smart choice.

Google AI continued:

The "Bottom Line" for your 2026 outlook:

Expect a near-certainty (90%+) of aggressive legal and federal challenges to the election process, but a highly contested battle in the courts to determine if those challenges actually change the November results. 2/2

Google AI: If we define "manipulate" as using federal power to influence the rules, the rolls, or the public's trust in the [2026 election] outcome, the facts suggest this is not a future possibility, but an ongoing campaign. 1/2

How about all persons (1) who are "authorized" to be in US, not simply with documented status. Also, how about no detentions (2) for those not facing criminal charges? (26% of detainees face criminal charges.) Even that is too muc bc entering illegally is a crime, even though most show up for court

I can tell you a friend of my father who worked at Boeing as an engineer wrote an anti-war article, was fired and then blacked balled in the industry. Andrew Young helped him find a job as a teacher.

You're looking at the wrong election. It's the Democratic Primary that matters.

The type of rank choice voting nyc uses gives an advantage to candidates with enthusiastic support rather than consensus candidates.

Absolutely love the bubble map! THANK YOU.

Apologies, but one small tweak suggestion 🫣 the graphics / colors / contrast could be improved to provide more clarify. But otherwise excellent representation on where (literally) we are as a country.

A full-fledged axis of evil.

Your voice is especially relevant right now. For me, it's hard to believe that someone who supports law enforcement and police officers accepts the mission this administration has required them to perform.

I'd really look forward to hearing more about what you think on this. 2/2

While it may be difficult to discern on this platform, I'm not a troll. I genuinely respect your opinion / expertise. You seem like someone like me who loves cities and wants to improve them given real world constraints. 1/2

I mean, it's wrong, but how does that compare with a federal deployment of armed personel that is 3x larger than the local police force meant to enforce civil infractions terrorizing the entire community?

This a great map, but the graphic presentation should better portray population density.

Nevertheless, I'm still in favor of taking a hand count among fellow passengers to determine if it's safe to land at O'Hare during the next snow storm.
