I oversaw a 2-year €50m Y2K project. We watched New Year approach us starting with NZ. At midnight we waited. Nothing happened, everything stayed up and we broke open the champagne. Got to bed at 5am. 11am NYD CEO rang. 1 tiny customer facing system crashed. He wasn’t happy. That’s what I remember!
