Think I found the perfect microcosm of old v new English city life today in Nottingham: fish & chip shop, craft beer bar, Greggs, nail salon and another craft beer bar 🙄

I was thinking about those days recently and now here I am 😅

This is Regent House in Stockport, England. A lovely/hideous (depending on your pov) example of late stage brutalist architecture - now mostly used as a budget hotel. Built in 1973-ish, and snapped here from the beer garden of the wonderful Runaway Brewery below.
