When you book seat A10 for a late-night screening and some absolute weirdo decides that seat A9 is for him when there’s an abundance of available seating!

Words fail me! This popcorn is not for sharing.

Josh O’Connor seems to be in everything these days - and he’s always bloody brilliant.

The Sound of History is very Brokeback Mountain but with folk music: Folkback Mountain.

Joy Division’s Atmosphere was an inspired choice for the ending.

Doctor, there’s a lump in my throat!

Bath needs to up its game in terms of exotic animals roaming the streets.

It’ll never not be weird seeing peacocks sauntering along in Corsham.

The whisky gods whispered, ‘pop into Independent Spirit’, and lo and behold, I snagged their last #MysteryMalt bottle of series 3. Like Charlie Bucket unwrapping a Wonka Bar, I peeled off the cap to reveal... a very fine #Tobermory 24YO @indiespiritbath.bsky.social @dornochdistillery.bsky.social

‘I Swear’ is my favourite film of the year so far!

There were genuinely laugh-out-loud scenes (a rarity) in what was an emotional, heartfelt, and truly endearing story, with a cracking soundtrack to boot.

Kirk Jones, Robert Aramayo, John Davidson – effing brilliant!

Who’s going to brave the waters? 🌊

Exciting to see who takes over this potential gem.

Solsbury Hill is a great place to spot these ‘agents from the east’. They’re commonplace these days, but considered an exotic sighting when I was growing up.

Does anyone have any recommendations for campervan hire places (preferably in or around Bath)?

Twelve quid for Bob Dylan’s Desire vinyl seems reasonable.

Ahh, look, a stamp inside which shows the provenance.

I wonder if it will add any value.

Oh!

The Salt Path is every bit as enthralling as the book, in no small part thanks to Gillian Anderson’s superlative performance as @raynorwinn.bsky.social. She succinctly nails the profound love, loss, despair & hope.

And what a showreel for the South West.

Bring on The Wild Silence!

Think I’ve found the culprit of the annoying ticking sound around the fireplace that’s been driving me mad for months: tanbark borers. 5 or 6 appear in the window daily.

There seems to be a very lost quail walking near St Matthew’s Place in Widcombe. Has anyone lost one?

Found myself sneezing a lot this afternoon, and it was only at night when I was walking with a flashlight that I could see why! A crazy amount of what I assume is pollen.

It’s a good old-fashioned boozer but not even a top 5 IMO

Very much looking forward to watching Bob Dylan's biopic #ACompleteUnknown.

I can't imagine any music artist today, or in the future, creating the kind of furore that Dylan did when he 'went electric'.

Alcohol at breakfast time - and not in a brown paper bag kinda way - don’t mind if I do.

The Danes certainly know how to start the day! It’s lovely in coffee, porridge or neat as a winter warmer!
