There's probably an argument that the benefit of Bryce + canales getting a taste of the playoffs will far outweigh the negative of having to play a first place schedule next season...

My crackpot theory: hornets tanking again this year. New ownership is convinced lamelo is a loser, short term goals are trading him for future draft capital and getting a top 5 pick in the next 2 drafts to line up with future 1sts from Dallas and Miami
NEWS: Brandon Miller and Tre Mann are both OUT tonight in Brooklyn. Charles Lee said both went through morning shootaround and wanted to play, but training staff is holding them out after 3 games in 4 nights.

Since this skeet the hornets have gone 2-10. Gave NO (currently 3-15) their first win of the season. Gave Indy (2-15) their 2nd win of the season. Allowed Miami to score 53 pts in the 1st quarter. Yup, season is over.
3 straight losses by an average of 20 points. Feels like the season is over already.

rogue one is bad folks. i have believed this since i saw it in theaters and no subsequent rewatch has changed my mind. basically a chop job until the final sequence, which is good (for star wars)
