Why is Virginia cannabis market being sold out to out of state corporations? Please don't let these companies get a head start against Virginia owned businesses in the recreational market. This is not whats best for consumers!

Open the goverment! This is not working! Its going to cause more damage than if yall had just let the ehanced criedts expire. The ACA is failing anyways. We shouldnt be funding insurance companies that deny care any keep raising premiums/deductables! We can do better!

Virginia's economy is to dependant on fed money. I hope you promote build a "Buy Virginia" economy. Help sell our goods on the world stage.

I hear ya. The past 4-5 years I started getting into the legislative process in Virginia. Cannabis related. In the 2024 GA, in the final comittee, paraphernalia was added to the tax line, same as cannabis products. I fought hard from many angles and it is being taken out of this years version.

Im very aware of whats out there. I want to defeat it. We prob have similar goals. I want new stratgey. Better fighters. Better policy. Better execution of policy.
I'm pissed about Dems not having the rebate part of the IRA ready to go at the same time as the creidts. That was a total policy flop.

Im not exactly suggesting Dem strategy devolves into chaos. I just want to see better policy and specifically updated messaging. Look at Spanbegers page, its endless generalizations. I want to vote for a Dem Im excited about, not just "agaisnt Trump".

Keeping ppl covered is the goal. I dont think shutting down the government this long is a good way to achieve that. My guess is the GOP will never budge on the enhanced subsidies and in time if not already, more damage will happen from the shut down than if the Dems had just let them expire.

Virginia Dem voter on the ACA here, Id rather my premiums go up than this goverment shutdown go on. Its hurting way to many people and this post feels like you and Dems have no actual strategy. Dems need a new direction. You have to win elections to fight.

Its a bummer but this will prob backfire on the Dems. Most folks know nothing about the ACA and dont care to be educated on it. Yall are still not understanding the new age of "entertainment" politics brought on by social media apps.
