From my interests, I would say a lot of stuff from black studies has had a huge impact, specifically the debates around Afropessimism that peaked in the mid 2000s and got taken up more widely around 2020. But its also hard to tell how wide those ideas actually travelled.

what would you say was the last big idea in theory that really resonated across disciplines?

For all the hate he got for his batting average, I am thoroughly convinced he was the most essential Astro for the 2022 season and we would not have won without him. A great career.

I'm curious, Chandler, do you know who holds the record for the most injured MLB team of all time (i.e. the most players injured that started the season healthy combined with injured players that would have been on the team but were injured from the start)? Are we close to some kind of record?
