The frog sits quiet, yet the whole pond listens.
A small, brightly colored dyeing poison dart frog (Dendrobates tinctorius sits on a textured piece of reddish-brown wood. The frog has turquoise blue legs with dark spots, a cream-colored side with black blotches, and a bold black-and-cream striped pattern along its head and back. Its skin appears smooth and slightly reflective.

A little rainforest corner.
A tall glass terrarium filled with a lush mix of epiphytic bromeliads and air plants. The largest plants have long, arched leaves in shades of bright green with soft pink highlights. Several spiky gray-green Tillandsia cluster around driftwood pieces, clinging naturally. Below them, jewel orchids with dark leaves and fine red-gold veining grow in the shaded lower layer. The tank is positioned on a dark wood stand, and warm lighting from above gives the display a tropical, humid atmosphere. 🦉 Mammillaria parkinsonii

Oreocereus trollii, also known as Old Man of the Andes cactus. This old man is still fairly young.
