The tiny details in this book are so good. It’s the most fascinating music books I’ve ever read.

For example, on octopus’s garden, they needed the bubbling sound. They tried water and milk and found milk sounded better.

20 years ago I’m doing a jingle and they wanted bubbling. I was ready.

Have you read “The Beatles recording sessions” book? It’s a literal day by day diary of their recording sessions plus interviews with their engineers and george martin. It’s the most far out book ever. There’s so much weird stuff they were doing. Even early on!

If I remember from the Beatles recording sessions book, the stereo mixes were an afterthought done in an afternoon by one of the engineers.

What would your offer be?

When you haver great player development you know you can produce prospects just as good in a year or two. Between Scott, Tong, Wenninger, Watson, and Santucci, we have lots of forthcoming options.

I don’t think they’ll get rid of Baty. He can rotate around the field and get a good number of at bats. Then if Bichette leaves next year you still have him. Also can play several places as an injury replacement.

I used to be so excited to get the new tour video recaps that famous cycling videos put out. I must have watched the 1989 one a hundred times.

What would you offer if you were the Mets?

Transcribe this for metal style guitar, put full band hits on the open strings, and boom.

That’s literally a pitching coach’s job.

Serious question: How many pitchers got better under him? We had lots of guys who he couldn't fix.

same!

I always liked Nimmo and enjoyed him as a player. He had some big hits for us. On that level watching him go off a cliff like he’s likely to would be really sad.

Does Seemien has some offensive upside or is he solidly declining?
November 23, 2025 at 10:34 PM
Same, but he did just win a gold glove.
