He's not wrong imo. Bolillos and conchas are cheap but they're not good. But their tortillas are cheap AND great. And CDMX has one of the best bakeries but they do pastry. But their bread is not worth paying a premium for.

I interpreted it as something more calculated and sinister: people who oppose him may be killed by Trump supporters. He wrote it before he knew the son was a suspect, so he was trying to intimidate others.

There's nothing conservative about people who support the current Rep Party. Rule of law, limited govt, individual liberty all ignored by Reps now, and i don't see feminism or women's equality in conflict w/ conservative philosophy.

Medieval towns i've visited were multistory w/ narrow lanes and no space for cesspits. Urbanization happened rapidly, and doesn't look like there was any urban planning. Govt agencies weren't well-developed, so hard to believe they weren't throwing buckets of waste into closest river.
