Since 2003 the IOL has been hosted in a different country in summer each year. The competition challenges participants to analyze the grammar, structure, culture, and history of different languages and to demonstrate their linguistic abilities through puzzles and problem-solving challenges.

in Egyptian Arabic they say baʕd bukra (lit. "after tomorrow") for overmorrow, which is less exciting, but for two days in the past they say awwil imbāriḥ which is lit. "the first yesterday" which i think is pretty neat.
