Final road game in the CAA ever for Villanova and Ja’briel Mace broke the program record for rushing yards in a game with 291.

HALFTIME: #Villanova and Towson are tied at 7. The Wildcats made a lot of mistakes in the first half, but Ja’briel Mace has kept them in the game. Mace has 9 carries for 93 yards and a touchdown.

Towson will get the football to begin the second half.

FINAL: #8 BYU defeats #Villanova, 71-66. The Wildcats trailed by double digits in the second half and stormed back to take the lead, but they couldn't stop BYU's late charge.

Bryce Lindsay had 22 points on 7-for-14 shooting. The Wildcats committed 11 turnovers compared to BYU's 4 turnovers.

FINAL: #Villanova defeats Towson, 79-54. Jasmine Bascoe scored 32 points. Brooke Bender accumulated 14 points.

The Wildcats converted 54% of their three-point attempts. Villanova did commit 19 turnovers, but a good start on the Main Line.

I’m honored to announce that Phillies PA Announcer Dan Baker will join Villanova Sports Talk on Monday, October 27 at 12:30 PM.

In addition to Dan’s 53 years at the Phillies, he was the radio announcer for Drexel MBB from 1997-2012. He broadcasted Big 5 Basketball for 21 years.

HALFTIME: #14/15 Villanova leads Hampton, 49-0. Pat McQuaide threw for 166 yards and five touchdowns in the first half. The Wildcats had 247 yards of offense.

Defensively, Villanova had two sacks, six tackles for loss, and only allowed 32 total yards.

Just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who followed along with my coverage from Penn State, especially on the WXVU broadcast.

It was a dream come true to broadcast from such a historic venue like Beaver Stadium. This broadcast was a moment that I will remember for the rest of my life.
