Michael Johnson's track league, funded by the awful Bill Ackman, ended up killing the USATF meet that was already scheduled at UCLA. Now, they're canceling their own meet, allegedly because the rental agreement was bad for them. That means UCLA insisted on being paid. www.latimes.com/sports/olymp...
L.A. was supposed to host two track meets in June. Now both are canceled
Grand Slam Track canceled the final meet of its first season, in Los Angeles, leaving the host of the 2028 Olympics without a major track meet this summer.

3x Olympian, legendary coach Bill Dellinger has passed away at 91 years old.
Dellinger won bronze in the 5000m at the 1964 Olympics and was both an athlete & coach at the University of Oregon, where he served as head coach from 1972-1998. As a coach, he won 5 NCAA titles & guided 108 All-Americans.
