I couldn’t really get into it but I’ll admit I liked one other song. HM so far above the rest though it felt like a good answer to your question.

Deeply unfair on Space (but agree about Mansun being unfair too)

What a fucking record indeed. I think maybe my third favourite single of all time.

And Cameron, no?

It’s honestly in my top ten films of all time despite Moore being laughable (although even when visibly superannuated he still carries off the Bond personality very well IMO). Just very exciting and Zorin and May Day are tremendous. Great set pieces too.

Gosh, I think it’s a perfect song and theme. AVtaK has the best Bond theme, villain, girl, settings and plot - such a shame Moore was so past his sell by date in it.

Crikey. My kids are too old for them now but my abiding sense was a deep regret they weren’t around when I was young, as I’d have absolutely *adored* them. I even enjoyed taking the kids to them (unlike most things with young kids, they enabled at least small chunks of down time).

The latter sign reminds me of the one for St Andrew St in my home town. Two identical sets of letters (St and St) pronounced differently and it took me about ten years of living here even to realise it. A small thing but I enjoyed it when I saw it.

What an absolutely terrible thing to say.

Richly merited. All as icky and sinister as their author, as I remember.
