What's the grey line from the food of the bridges to just after Abbeyhill? According to the key, it's an existing railway, but I think it must Waterloo Place and Regent Road? In which case, it would be a tram line?

Excellent - in my response I suggested the council should look at the Spokes submission, based on what I'd seen of the draft. Interesting idea about an alternative Pleasance/Market St Northbound route.

Still of a heist movie about stealing jewels from the Balmoral, featuring Harold Lloyd dangling from the massive clock face (the mechanism was slightly damaged during filming, which is why it's run 3 minutes fast ever since).

Yes, the GWW collection has some amazingly detailed photos of Edinburgh. This one of Leith from Calton Hill is one of my favourites. I think it's from the 1870s - there is industry where there are now tenements.
