I think this results from everything having to be so... much. When they were kicking games out on the PS1 it was like 5 guys who made spreadsheet software. I think iteration is good but especially when it's done on novel systems. Those big swings that lay that groundwork are harder to take nowadays.

I think I made the wrong choice choosing to get it on console because I've been running into frustrations with the UI mostly related to using the controller. Don't remember having them with Case though.
