To be fair to asbestos it is very good at what it was used for. It just had some bad potential side effects when you removed it. AI is kind of the opposite.

That's a little bit naughty @hetanshah.bsky.social 😁

The UK cost of living necessitates working full-time. It is not possible to rent a property as a single earner, on a single part-time wage, without significant support.

Everything else is under-employment.

Although apparently they’d been accidentally leaking all the other budgets to the markets for ages. Which is quite a big mistake

Tories were desperate for some kind of market meltdown and are having a toddler tantrum it didn’t happen

It always surprises me how many people who often profess themselves to be Christian seem to be shocked at the revelation that Christ was a bit of a lefty

“I’m being burgled”
“Great so I’m hearing you’re being murdered, is that right?”

Hearing a lot atm about how tech will shift from AI to quantum computing to pull in those AI billions. Would be interested in your view on that.

Quicker to get to central London from Bromley than it was when I lived in Streatham. Train goes direct to Victoria with no stops.

I reckon many of those 4/5 bed houses are not even 1m. Our 4 bed in Bromley (which we could build another 2 rooms on if we wanted) is more like 800. Although I’ll grant that’s not cheap either
