I love this question. Yes, absolutely you can. The reason to do developmental editing on outlines first–if a writer is able to–is it can save tons of work! So much can be solved with structural & character arc issues in a 15-20 pg outline.🧵⬇️ #Writersky #writingcommunity #editing #authorsky

Working on developmental #editing notes for a client's outline for their #fantasy novel. I’m weaving in suggestions of how to intertwine the main character's arc into the main story goal. This is one of the most challenging things to do in storytelling, and I love teaching people how to do it.😃
