Farmers in fact are indifferent or even hate it. The animals don't look at the clock to decide when it's time to eat/sleep/whatever. Tending the fields doesn't matter if it's 10am or 11am. Others claim it's for energy saving, but there's no evidence that really works either.

Hands: 3 and 4 fingers are both very common for hand drawn anthropomorphic characters. AI is barely learning that 4 is the maximum. While hands used to be the "easy" giveaway, artists have always traditionally struggled with hands. Many even deliberately avoid them.
