I miss shooting black and white. Some say portraits are not genuine street photographs. Yet, when you capture an honest to goodness expression on a face which uniquely counts the years of life I don’t know what’s more genuine. #ilfordfp4plus

Still available at Wally World although, of course, more expensive. Now just about $10 per roll. Not complaining, it’s good that you can buy a truly great film at Walmart but there’s no need for it to be so expensive. Great film though. Very versatile for being a second tier film #fujifilm400

Nighttime photography is still one of my favorite styles of photography. Light behaves differently and can be incredibly powerful during the night. Even though nowadays my photography includes people I still love a good night shot.
This one I took downtown Dallas years ago before I started street.

Very rarely I go out and the first shot of a session is my favorite shot…I feel my street photography isn’t quite there yet but it’s an incredibly fun process to aspire to a higher level when your out and about with your camera on the streets.

Lomo 800 is phenomenal in 120. They often say that it's unethical to take photos of the homeless. Why would you want to euphemize what's truly out there. In addition to that most homeless folks love having their photo taken and receiving a print a few weeks later. #filmphotography #mediumformat

Are portraits of people on the streets actual street photographs? Maybe not in the classical sense but to me personally it’s still street photography if the expression is sincere. #streetphotography #filmphotography
