Current or former? Because if it's former the likely list could be frighteningly long (and could include more than just team principals)

Good for bakery stuff and some of the 2 for 1 deals but not really worth it for anything else, but there are a bunch of them around here so we frequently end up in them anyway.

Qin leadership had to do a whole lot more work piecing that thing together, too.

Who takes a huge stack of Aramco cash first?

TBF he has a habit of going completely dark after championship game appearances

This has every chance of backfiring and creating a lot more pressure to move small market teams to areas where they can make more money for the league.

IMO the exact opposite is true. There's a lot of cool stuff you can do with the wider hashes. They're a creative challenge and an opportunity. Starting every play in basically the same place is boring.

That's kind of where I'm at. They'll be back to EVs in 3 years when they remember that PHEVS are a pretty costly compromise (I loved my Volt, but I don't know that GM ever made money on them) and consumer sentiment will be different.

As @unstablemongoose.bsky.social said, I think it makes a lot of sense in the context of the social media environment that the players live in where most of them will wake up to hundreds or thousands of pretty horrific messages.

So Arkansas State, then

I think there's some merit to that but not enough to really impede a player who is determined to back out.

Proving damages is definitely where the schools are going to have a hard time in court, but in the current landscape I think their argument is that by signing then backing out on a deal you've robbed the school of time and resources to shop for a like-for-like replacement.

IIRC it's not just NIL money in these contracts after the House Settlement. There's revenue sharing money directly from the school tied into these deals now and that, in theory, would make these contracts more enforceable.

What if they ran it like an orchestra with guest conductors?

Long podcasts are a lifesaver if your job has a lot of monotonous work. I would have gone insane on the grounds crew or as a spray technician if I couldn't fill all those hours on machines with something interesting.

People just generally have no concept of scale for water measurements.

Oh I definitely think he's doing the knockoff Finebaum thing but dudes who try to pull that invariably turn into the guys they're pretending to be over time.

An especially wild thing to say when JMU's former defense forms the core of the current #1 team's defense right now, and a host of athletes from this year's JMU and Tulane teams will inevitably follow their head coaches to power conferences next year!

Muppet Band Washington felt right because it fits that corner of the country perfectly, but Alabama football is supposed to feel like an institution from the Khrushchev USSR.

Equal parts hilarious and infuriating even if you're just a neutral observer!
