Speaking as a sober Minnesotan currently living in South Minneapolis, let me remind you that alcohol is a depressive. I know that I don't want to feel any more depressed than I already am today. 🖤

I read a web article about how many people were upset about the changes, and I'm hoping they repair the damage. I think the writers thought all the attention would be on the seniors, but there are some great side characters too. Bogdan is an important character. 🩶

In the movie they took liberties with my favorite character, Bogdan. Hopefully they'll be more faithful to his character in the next movie, if there is one. 💙

I love this book. I recommend it to friends as a fun way to understand the concept of money and how it's just a social construct, and "what's the deal about billionaires." Plus the talking cats and swearing dolphins are super fun. 🐈‍⬛🐬💰

Finished it. It was good. Sweet but not saccharine. Cozy.

I thought it was a great book too. Creepy, but not too creepy. I loved the image of the staircase to nowhere in the woods. The characters were interesting. The plot moved along well.

I highly recommend listening to the audio book narrated by Ray Porter. Ray does an amazing job, and really brings the story to life. The audio is actually much better than the print version.

I just started The Crescent Moon Tearoom: A Novel (The Spellbound Sisters) by Stacy Sivinski. It's very sweet so far. It may be a bit -too- sweet for me, but I enjoy an occasional cozy read, and it's very cozy. 🩷

I should have said "that I've read recently." The book is from 2019, and I found out about it recently. I've been doing a bit of a dive into indigenous and Icelandic folklore lately.
